General: Sansevieria are a hardy and beginner-friendly plant! 

Light: Sansevieria can tolerate low-light to bright environments. Just keep in mind that it may not grow in those low-light spots.

Water:  These plants prefer a dry environment! Water your sansevieria when it is completely dry - but also consider the amount of light it is receiving!  If in a low-light area your sansevieria may prefer to be drier as it won’t have enough light to use up the water in the soil.
