General: The common name used for a group of species that are quite similar. Vining philodendrons look similar to Pothos and require the same care.

Light: Philodendrons prefer a bright indirect light. They can tolerate low-light environments - but they may show little to no growth. Too much direct sunlight may discolor and bleach the leaves.

Water: Philodendrons like to be watered regularly, but allow the soil to dry between waterings to avoid root rot. Philodendrons may also show signs that they are thirsty with drooping and curled leaves.
